Founded in 2022, EAU BAGS is the recycled nylon bag brand, built around one clear purpose: turning waste into your most used bag.
EAU’s signature striped bags begin their lives as nylon waste - discarded fishing nets, old carpets and factory off-cuts - before being transformed into recycled yarn, hand-dyed and woven into the thick, colourful fabric that has become synonymous with the brand.
Behind the bags, is also the story of two Queensland sisters building a fashion business from the ground up.
In conversation with business mentor Deanne Luke, Olivia and Claudine will share the journey of creating Eau Bags, the name on everybody’s lips : from developing a product and visual identity that immediately stands apart, to working closely with artisans in India, building sustainability into the foundations of the business, finding their customer and navigating the challenges and opportunities that come with growing a young Australian fashion brand.
